Condition report and technical assessment - in studio
On-site consultation includes a direct analysis of the artwork at the restoration laboratory.
The examination includes:
∙ Technical-executive analysis (support, materials, painting or sculptural technique)
∙ Chronological and stylistic classification
∙ Assessment of the conservation status
∙ Identification of degradation problems
∙ Non-invasive investigations of the painted surface
∙ Preliminary cleaning tests and material compatibility tests, where appropriate
∙ Photographic documentation of the artwork
∙ Definition of necessary conservation interventions
∙ Estimated restoration costs
The artwork will remain at the laboratory for a minimum of one week, after which the client can arrange to pick up the painting along with the complete documentation.
For organizational and confidentiality reasons, access to the laboratory is by appointment only. Upon payment confirmation, the client will receive a private link via e-mail containing the operating address and instructions for delivering the artwork.
This service is exclusively for antique paintings and sculptures. Furniture, decorative objects, or contemporary artworks are not accepted.
